xu basketball!!

Tonight was the first game of the season (we had two exhibition games - which we won. woo!!!). Today we played Eastern Illinois University. We blasted em out of the water!!! WOO!!! 80-35!! we rock!!! hehehehe. i was so excited. i went to the game with Erin (she lives across the hall) and Ashley.

SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!

ok, so yesterday was a huge rollercoaster. The girl who was my ride to buffalo calls and goes - "yeah, we can't take you anymore". I flip out, sob for a good half hour, call my mom...... figure out that i am too poor to take a train, bus, or plane. Freak out some more. Call people, flip out..... yeah. good times. About three hours later i sorta have it figured out.... i have a pretty good night - i take my first shot (rasberry vodka) and my first full drink (smirnoff ice - triple black). it was good. i got slightly tipsy, but not much really. i took it pretty slow, so that was good. we had a scare with the ra so we had to break up the party early, and then we just hung out and watched "a knight's tale". i feel fine today. yay.
so back to my thanksgiving troubles - i talk to katie brennan at brunch today and i get stuff all figured out.
I AM COMING HOME!!! for a night at least. hehe. I should get home on tuesday around 7:00 or so, i hope. i plan to hang out with the gang all night, cause the next morning i am driving with the fam all the way to buffalo, and the later i stay out, the more i sleep in the car. so. party on tuesday. :) then my fam is dropping me of in cinci on the way home on sunday. so i get to go to buffalo for thanksgiving after all, and i get to see all my buddies. :):):):):):)

and i just found out that my cousin had her baby!! yay!!!! It's a boy - 8 pounds, 12 oz (big baby!), and his name is Jesse (he is named after his daddy).

my mommy sent me pictures yesterday of my other cousin who had her baby, anna, a couple weeks ago. So this picture is my cousin, Katie, with her son, Jacob, and her new daughter, Anna. How cute are they?? hehe

ok here is my cousin Mary Beth's cutie of a baby - his name is Caleb. He was a lion for his first halloween. hehe. i love this kid - at the reunion i held him a lot, and he started to recognize me!! He never cried when i held him, and he smiled at me a lot, and i was one of the few that could find his tickle spot really well. hehe. i was amazing at tickling this kid. ahhhh i love him!!

sooooo homesick

well, i guess the better term would be friend-sick. i miss you all so much. for the first time in my life, i actually wish i wasn't going to Buffalo for thanksgiving. I love my cousins and family and all so much, but i miss you guys sooooo much.
ugh i hate being homesick. it seems like a constant state for me and probably will be for the next 29 days. that's my new mantra i think - 29 days til break. just 29 days.
it'll be a shitty trip getting there though. a buttload of projects and all other kinds of hell. yay.
this will be a fun 29 days.
so tired of crying...

(ok that is supposed to sound like the part in lion king when the hyenas go "no king no king lalalalalala" - i don't know why that popped into my head but it did...)
i went shopping today with Erin. It twas fun. We walked about the mall, went in some shops. Then we went into American Eagle. I fell in love with two shirts, but I didn't want to spend my money.... so i went and called my mommy. The two shirts are now part of my birthday present. I love em!! One of them is brown with pink around the hood (its a really fuzzy hoody thing) and the other is a peppermint green shirt that is long and has long sleeves and then it has green embroidery on the front and on the back. eeeee i love getting new stuff. :)

rollercoaster

rollercoasters make me feel sick (motion sickness) unless i have taken dramamine. If like was like a rollercoaster, i would have to say that i have forgotten to take dramamine.

ugh i hate being in a funk.
